How do fees work?

Registering with Gourmet Groceries and creating a store is Free. Our free account allows unlimited products to be listed, and you only pay when your products sell.

 

You will be charged payment processing and transaction fee equaling 9.5% of the total order, excluding shipping, when a customer pays for an order

 

There are no charges for shipping and all shipping amounts collected are deposited into your account.

 

There are no other platform fees to manage and run your online store.

 

Additional fees may be charged for any ad-hoc services provided by our support team, such as creating your store or adding products on your behalf.

 

What do I need to do to create a store?

No credit or debit card is required to create a store on Gourmet Groceries. 

To be verified as a vendor, you be required to set up an account with Stripe (quick, easy, and free), where funds from your sales will be deposited and payment for your monthly plan will be debited. 

 

Payment processing fees are automatically deducted at the time of customer payment. 

How do I get paid?

Once a customer makes the payment, all funds, minus any processing fees, are automatically deposited into the Stripe account you create when setting up your store. You can withdraw these funds at any time.

 

Gourmet Groceries does not handle any payments or withhold any funds. This gives you confidence and the funds to process customer orders.
